Australian Government scholarships
 
If you’re a high-calibre student and have received excellent academic results, you could be entitled to an Australian Government scholarship

The scholarships are directed by the Australian Agency for  
International Development (AusAID) and the Department of Education,  
Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR), the scholarships are available in these areas -

•  Undergraduate courses
•  Postgraduate courses
•  Research areas
•  Vocational Education and Training (VET)
• Student exchanges

 
*These scholarships are not applicable to students who are doing just English Language courses
 
There are three programs that you can apply for:


Endeavour Awards

The Endeavour Awards offer a chance for students from the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions to further their studies in Australia. The Endeavour Awards provide a framework in which students can prosper in their chosen academic or professional field. Some of these Awards will be allocated to Europeans and Americans as well.


Australian Leadership Awards

The Australian Leadership Awards are granted to exceptional students from the Asia-Pacific region who are wanting to do postgraduate study (Masters of PHD). The chosen fields must be in accordance with AusAID’s programs. Some of these areas include geo-politics, the environment, education and policy development.


Australian Development Scholarships

Australian Development Scholarships provide graduates with the abilities and tools to bring about change and a desirable impact in their own country. After completion of their course, it is mandatory that students return to their home-land and apply what they have learnt during the course for the duration of 2 years. Every year, 1,000 scholarships are presented to men and women equally from around the world.
